A little bit about us

The Passionist Youth Retreat Team was founded in 2001 by Fr. Ray Sanchez CP and has been dedicated to providing students an opportunity to be themselves amongst their peers through retreats.

We offer professional, fun and thought provoking retreats and reflection days that are down to earth for young people ages 12-30. We quietly challenge young people to explore their faith and understanding of self through storytelling, multi-media, song, liturgy and hands on experiences. The sessions are usually designed to answer three questions:

Who am I?

Who am I in relation with others?

Who am I in relation to GOD?

We’ve been doing retreats all over Australia

Our Retreat team have seen a few places, servicing our program across Australia. Our passionate team have an aim is to bring our message of unconditional love to young people nation-wide, working with schools in some of the most rural locations.

To find yourself in a safe environment where you can explore the questions of life and faith, without judgement, accepted for who you are and not for what you believe, gives a person room to find themselves and God. To be challenged to develop skills in presenting to and facilitating groups, to realise that you can make a difference in people’s lives, and to share that experience with people your own age builds a person up to realise their worth and form life-long friendships. These reasons are why I can say joining the team is a life changing experience.”
